Gift Basket Raffle

Help raise funds for the newest Fisher House in our own back yard. Donate a basket or bid on one to help raise funds for the Perry Point Fisher House.

About the Raffle

The Basket Raffle will consist of approximately 25 ‘themed’ baskets that will be auctioned off with the winners announced at the event. The baskets will be provided by various APG Organizations, local businesses, and individuals. Each donor will be asked to put together items, wrapped in a transparent material, and decorated with the event’s theme.

Preparing Your Basket

Theme

This year’s theme is “Midnight in the Emerald City” and the coordinating colors are green and gold.

Value

Baskets should range in value from $250 to $500.

Requirements

Donors are asked to coordinate their themes with Josie Montanez or Crystal Moore, our Basket Committee POCs.

SEPT. 1st UPDATE: Please provide a list of contents with the basket to our POCs and arrange to have baskets to be delivered as soon as possible (802 Bentgrass Dr, Aberdeen MD 21001).

Auction & Drawing Information

  1. Gift Basket Drawings – To compete for a gift basket, you must submit a basket ticket in the corresponding jar placed near the basket. The jars will be labeled with its name and item number.
  2. Whiskey Raffle Drawing – Tickets for the whiskey raffle can be purchased and submitted at the information table.
  3. Silent Auction Trips – Auction Sheets are located with each trip certificate. High Bid at 9 pm will be the winner.
  4. Door Prize Drawing – Tickets for the door prize are located on your basket ticket card and should be submitted at the information table.
  1. 6:00 pm – Ticket submissions open. Volunteers will be on hand to assist you in the lobby.
  2. 9:15 pm – All ticket submissions end.
  3. 9:30 pm – All winners will be drawn.
  4. 9:45 pm – Winners will be displayed in the lobby.
  1. All sales are final. No exchanges, refunds, or cancellations. All items are offered in “as-is” condition.
  2. Payment may be made by cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, or check payable to AUSA.
  3. All auction items must be removed from Waters Edge Events Center by 11:00 pm on the evening of the event, except for those items which are stored at off-site facilities. Case by case exceptions may be made, if coordinated with event committee.
  4. The value of items contributed for the auction has been determined by the donors and is not warranted by the committee for tax purposes or general value. The auction chairs and AUSA make no representations as to the value of the items.
  5. The buyer waives any claims for liability against either AUSA or the contributor. Neither AUSA nor the donor is responsible for any personal injuries or damages to property that may result from the use of property or services sold.
  6. Check gift certificates for any expiration dates/restrictions that may apply. Gift certificates may not be redeemed for cash.
  7. AUSA is not responsible for making any reservations. All reservations are subject to space availability and are to be arranged at the mutual convenience of the donor and the purchaser.
  8. Booklet descriptions are for convenience only. AUSA and the auction chairs are not responsible for errors in description, authenticity, or conditions of goods donated. Inspect each item prior to placing ticket in jar during the event.
